Outdoor Masses and Liturgical Services

It's kind of ironic that we can now celebrate weddings outside! Normally, weddings must be celebrated "within" the church. This is a window of opportunity. I mentioned this to a couple today who is planning to get married here in a few months! Will the outside only order for Mass and Liturgical Services still be in place and will they want an outdoor wedding! Who would have thought it could come to this! Anyway, regarding our outdoor Masses here, the bishop said there is no limit to the number of people who can come. The only limit is the space and how many people can physically distance within that space; so our parking lot turned into chapel! We will do the best we can to make it as spiritual as possible. Since this has happened so quickly we are doing the best we can to make the outside Mass experience is prayerful as possible. So each week we are outside we will make adjustments and improvements. We've only just begun!
