Holy Thursday commemorated the Insitution of the Holy Eucharist and the sacrament of Holy Orders. Good Friday was a day of fasting and abstinence. The parishioners were led by Deacon Tom for the stations of the cross, followed by soup and salad fellowship at the Parish Hall and a movie viewing of The Chosen. It ended with the Veneration of the Cross, with people lining up to kiss and and give honor to the cross that led to his death. Easter Vigil started with the blessing of fire, water and easter candle, and a renewal of baptismal vows with the lighting up of the church to symbolize his rising from the dead. Finally Easter Sunday was a joyful celebration in all the masses that culminated with easter egg hunting at the front lawn headed by the Knights of Columbus. The celebration of our Lord's passion, death and ressurection showed the deep spirituality of our family of faith and the commuinty coming together as a church of God. Click Here for Picture Gallery
